Jutlandia Terminal, Conqueror member in Esbjerg, Denmark, announces their collaboration with Vestas on the He Dreiht offshore wind project in the German waters. This initiative will reinforce the company's position as a key logistics partner in the renewable energy sector. Under the agreement, Jutlandia will handle all stevedoring operations for the project’s inbound and outbound cargo flows. The agreement involves stevedoring services for nacelles and blades and loading wind turbine components onto the installation vessel Wind Orca.
These operations will take place at the port of Esbjerg, ensuring seamless logistics support for the assembly and deployment of Vestas’ V236-15.0 MW wind turbines. Notably, this turbine, equipped with 115.5-meter blades, achieves a capacity factor exceeding 60%. Therefore, fewer turbines can now generate more energy annually than ever before.
“We are honored to support Vestas on one of the most ambitious offshore wind projects to date,” says Anders Christensen, Operations Manager Agency & Stevedoring at Jutlandia. “Our expertise in handling complex logistics for the renewable energy sector, combined with our strategic location and facilities, makes us a trusted partner for projects of this scale.
Additionally, we look forward to contributing to the successful realization of this milestone in sustainable energy.”The project highlights the increasing need for streamlined logistics solutions in the offshore wind sector. Moreover, it demonstrates Jutlandia’s dedication to facilitating the global shift towards renewable energy. Leveraging decades of experience and a committed team, Jutlandia remains active in strengthening Denmark’s position as a leader in wind energy innovation.
Congratulations to Jutlandia and all the best for their upcoming projects!
